Sales Executive [Malaysia]


 
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and foster healthy relationships with transportation partners and other stakeholders.
  • Work with the manager to set up sales and strategic longer-term growth targets.
  • Foster growth by developing commercial push-pull relationships, and acquiring new business.

  • Observe market trends and the supply chain and be able to analyze them to maneuver and pivot accordingly.
  • Support sales campaigns by designing new ways to identify different sales verticals that can be captured.
  • Carry out all other related tasks.

Requirements:
  • Proven track record in sales in transportation, logistics
  • Knowledge of ocean, air, FCL and LCL are definite assets.
  • Strong Business Acumen and sales executive background and must be adept with the sale cycle process, negotiation and closing procedures.
  • Logistics Coordinator background – must be able to know key contacts in freight forwarding spheres and transportation companies that move freight in Canada, USA and globally.
  • Carrier relationships – a surplus point if a candidate can demonstrate strong links and contacts in land transport for Canadian and American markets and satisfactory knowledge in the air and ocean spheres.
