We are currently seeking Enterprise Architects who can be positioned at the intersection of business, technology and industry to devise strategies based on trends, insights and data.Enterprise architects are expected to take on the challenge of designing and implementing transformative, business-driven, technology-enabled solutions. EA’s must keep an eye on the newest technology with an eye on creating competitive advantage, digital disruption, business & operating model changes for our clients that create value through higher efficiency, effectiveness and customer experience.
Your Key Responsibilities
Understanding the business strategy & vision and translating them into enterprise wide technology vision & strategy in alignment with strategic priorities for growth, customer experience, efficiency etc.- Assess the impact of the business strategy on the architecture landscape, including organization, information and infrastructure and applications
- Create business and enterprise architecture models that help clients to realize their strategy & vision with technology. Lead the creation of blueprints and roadmaps for complex and large technology environments
- Ability to analyse client’s (IT) Operating Model including the organization structure, processes and governance while developing recommendations and/or creating actionable roadmaps

Significant experience in:
- 1) developing architecture standards, principles and guidelines for the enterprise;
- 2) governing enterprise-wide portfolio of systems / platforms as part of “Architecture Review Board’ and
- 3) function as guardian of the strategy and architecture to make sure that new initiatives comply with the set guidelines
- Analysing application portfolios, identifying dependencies and common infrastructure platform components, and assessing migration feasibility. Soliciting feedback from enterprise customers and influencing future iterations of our enterprise platform. Assisting with cost/benefit modelling and creating compelling business cases/total cost of ownership studies for migration.
- Solid experience in guiding our clients through large, enterprise-wide transformation to implement their strategies and enterprise architecture. Experience working with IT leadership (e.g., CIO, IT Director) and business leadership (e.g., CFO, COO, BU leader, etc.) to help shape and guide the IT strategic and improvement agenda.
- Be a trusted advisor on 'innovation' with ability to frame key business and technology trends within the context of the client's objectives. Ability to identify the potential implications and impacts of the associated trends.
- Leverage EY’s global network, and leverage the cross-functional expertise to develop relevant enterprise architecture insights
Additional responsibilities as a leader in the practice include:
Develop thought leadership and define approaches to provide structured solutions to complex technology strategy problems of clients, by recombining existing methodologies and teams- Managing engagement teams and providing technical leadership in the assessment, design, and management of successful IT transformation engagements in collaboration with our clients. They should provide high quality client services by directing daily progress of engagement work, informing EY leadership of engagement status, and managing staff performance
- Help recruit, develop and retain strategy professionals, coach and mentor team members, deliver architecture-related training and take on other practice management tasks as needed (e.g., development of practice offerings)
To qualify for the role, you must have
BE/BTech/ME/MTech/MCA/MBA with a strong industry / sector based experience- Minimum 10+ years of experience with advanced / mastery proficiency across key architecture domains (application, data, DevOps, infrastructure, cloud, network. security etc)
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture roles (Chief Architect, Principal architect etc)
Ideally, you’ll also have experience driving client engagements related to:
Enterprise Architecture Review Board & Governance- Tech Strategy & Transformation
- Enterprise Architecture Maturity Assessment
- Technology Architecture Design
- Architecture Model Development
- Technology Stack Analysis and Vendor Selection
- Technology Incubation and Proof of Concepts
- Experience working with IT leadership (e.g., CIO, IT Director) and business leadership (e.g., CFO, COO, BU leader, etc.) to help shape and guide the IT strategic and improvement agenda.
- Speaking at industry conferences, round tables, and other public forums
- Authoring articles and white papers
- Demonstrated capability to drive sales and bring a network of client relationships to the firm
- Relevant industry certification (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Cloud Certified, Pivotal Certified, CISSP, etc.).
- Design and implement APIs, deep understanding of REST, SOAP, HTTP, UDP etc.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, Node.js, Angular.js, Backbone).
- Experience working in Middleware products such as TIBCO, MuleSoft, IBM Message Broker, etc.
- Experience with open data systems (e.g., MongoDB, CassandraDB, CouchDB, Redis).
- Familiarity with design patterns (e.g., Cloud, Integration, Presentation).
- Experience implementing security such as OAuth, SAML, Single Sign On, Mobile Device Management, etc.
- Experience developing schemas (e.g., XSD, JSON, AVRO, etc.) and related data structures.
- Experience with source control (e.g., GIT, MAVEN, VSS, Team Foundation).
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment and DevOps
Skills and attributes for success

- Understanding of the current IT environment and industry IT trends to identify the engagement and client service issues.
- Ability to act as day-to-day client contact on the project engagement; run client status and other client meetings and deliver executive-level presentations that drive actions and decisions.
- Proven delivery skills including the ability to scope/size a project; staff a team with the appropriate skill set; provide subject matter direction and guidance to a team; and manage the delivery of an engagement.
- Ability to identify opportunities and help generate sell-on work during client engagements by understanding a range services and offerings and coordinating with personnel in other service lines to help sell integrated solutions that meet client needs.
- Experience in creating points of view on relevant industry trends, solutions, methodologies, and analytical frameworks and tools to bring strategic perspectives to existing solutions.
- Experience in managing a portfolio of executive level clients and developing long-term trusted advisor relationships.
- Experience in building strong teams with a solid understanding of project management, industry content knowledge, and effective client communications.
Technical:
Develop reference architectures and technology blueprints based on business requirements and non-functional requirements
Ability to identify technology standardization opportunities, specify options, weigh implementation complexities and risks to make the right technical decision.
Experience with at least one Cloud Based Platform (Cloud Foundry, Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure).
Experience architecting and implementing using Microservices, Containerization technologies (Docker etc)
Experience developing systems in MVC or MVVM architecture.
Good fundamental understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and / or experience with one of the following programming languages (C#, Java, Python, Ruby).
Experience guiding, designing and assisting in implementing Service Oriented Architecture.
Experience with and good understanding of Business Process Management, Business Rules Management Systems, Complex Event Processing systems.
Understanding of systems infrastructure and various approaches to load balancing and fault tolerance.
Experience in producing solution architecture diagrams, application interaction diagrams, solution blueprints, roadmaps, etc.
