Swiss Life Asset Managers’ (SL AM) ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) Securities department is responsible for defining and implementing the ESG strategy within the securities business across asset classes and business units. Furthermore, the team is responsible for building up the internal sustainability training program – the ESG ambassador initiative.

We are looking for a Working Student (f/m/d) to support the AM ESG Securities team to start in July/August 2023. In this newly created position you will report directly to the Head ESG Third Party - & Proprietary Insurance Asset Management.
Your area of responsibilities will be among others:
- Work with multipe stakeholders across business units and functions and support the ESG Securities team with implementing a framework for securities investments in Switzerland
- Work closely with the AM ESG securities and ESG divisional team and assist with further developing the ESG frameworks, policies as well as sustainability KPIs and targets – particularly being a contact person for local Market Unit Switzerland
- Support in preparing and reviewing ESG and sustainability related statements in the entire customer and sales communication of Swiss Life Switzerland (e.g. product documents, marketing measures, training documents, intranet, internet) and ongoing monitoring
- Participate in sustainability projects as well as exchange and cooperate with the AM ESG securities team at divisional level
Your profile:
- Bachelor's Degree (completed or in the final year) in business administration, finance, sustainability, environmental management, political science, law with a special focus on / interest in sustainability and/or responsible investing or comparable education or professional experience with ESG focus. Additional training on ESG is an advantage.
- Ideally some knowledge or experience of current sustainability concepts in asset management and/or insurance business.
- Hands-on mentality and result-oriented working methods
- Good MS Office skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint)
- Quick comprehension and willingness to take on new tasks.
- Independent and precise way of working
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Strong soft skills and ability to work in an international corporate environment.
- Very good knowledge of English, German and French is an advantage.
